I am scratching my head as to whether the property is sold and the listing services aren't updated, or the broker is just plain lazy and doesn't care.

I am jumping head first into wholesaling, after spending a bunch of money on what seems like a waste of time mentorship, which will remain unnamed.

However, from personal experience I would reach out to the HUD section 8 department to give them a heads up about the sale of the property. they will send you a packet to fill out but can't be completed until the new tenant has signed the lease or the current one is transferred into your name.
