Unless you have other streams of income, or very deep cash reserves, you suddenly get into a situation where payments are being shuffled, or unmade, or you are listing assets to get some relief.

Tenant reaches out to property mgmt company to get some relief (suggest a new provider, or a cheaper rate, or talk to a cable company manager, etc).

To be safe you may need to file a motion for relief from the stay as the trustee may be claiming an interest in the subject property.

The only relief I can see would be through opportunity zone developments and a shift to condos.

If things were to go bad financially for me, it would be a relief knowing that we had a roof over our heads that was paid off.For you, if you lost your house and had to move into a 1 bedroom apartment or have a roommate, could you do it?

I feel like you can probably get better returns owning (vs cc debt) if the end scenario is you have $850/month to put towards debt relief.

It was my first time with a vinyl plank and I managed to average 150-200 sq. ft. an hour with complex cuts/reliefs as well.
