A milestone for me. 

I've seen some people list 4 or 5 Milestones and give a percentage for each milestone and I've seen others create a milestone and pay the specific dollar amount for each line item within the milestone.

It allows me to track everything I have, categorize, export, and graph.

Like others have said, liquidity is the only true in what someone will pay for your house in cash today.Liabilities: List all your debt there.The balance=Net Worth My net worth broke a milestone (for me) a few years ago, but I had HEAVY liability, and for me, that made me nervous (even though on paper I was worth that large number).

I plan to save $20,000 total with small saving milestones (1k, 3k, 6k, etc.)

I also dropped this Real Estate Cycle graph just in case if you are not familiar with the different cycles. 

They tell you what milestones you must hit and what you need to do to perform the contract.

A lot of investors think this way, but I try not to do this myself and I think when people spend more time thinking about valuation graphs than the actual humans on the other side of the table, they're missing the forest for the trees.
