@Jon Holdman you can't check for leaks using soapy water until the gas is being fed by the gas company; if there is no existing gas meter, an air pressure test will be required. 

For one reason or another, the hubby is usually inside each of our 4 units quarterly, and from spring to fall is mowing grass 3-4 times a month.

Also, HELOCs usually have a variable rate which is pegged to the fed rate (which will rise in the coming years). 

Grass growing thru asphalt is not unheard of , especially if it is wire grass.

Example I put a trashed property under contract then I pay someone to go in their and clean it out, haul the trash off, cut the grass, maybe replace the broken glass in the windows, Paint the door, clean the gutters out.
