Do not give your traffic ANY reason to leave your website.If they click on your social media, and go to Facebook, and see their messages, likes, comments they get distracted, and Facebook algorithm knows this person just visited a "we buy houses" website, and Facebook now will display all your competitions ads to that prospect, hence giving away your prospects away on a silver platter.

While I do enjoy looking at data, I do find myself getting easily distracted when digesting it.

Another thing you should consider is a location to have with the fewest distractions.  

Seems to me someone should either be a property investor or should take up internet advertising.Maybe what I am missing is that some people don't have enough leads coming in to keep themselves busy and SEO is a way for them to distract themselves while they are waiting for the phone to ring.

And maybe all this talk about "going into it planning for failure" is simply a red herring to distract from the original question.This could be a very simple discussion, or a very nasty one ... between the two parties. 

Distract yourself. 

It needs to be convenient and have minimal distractions.  

You can change your mind but start by picking one so you can avoid distraction (shiny object syndrome). 

This is what is going through my head if someone tells me I can win a Porsche by buying an investment property (not meant to be directed towards you)  What is he hiding with the house that he feels he needs to distract me with a Porsche?  

Find an office location that you can afford and has few distractions.
