It is possible to borrow from an employer plan like a 401(k).Some people claim to "borrow" from an IRA by executing a 60-day rollover.

Hello everyone,I am currently seeking advice on the best way to conduct/ pursue a small claim/collection on a property that I invested in  but never received the R.O.I. 

Based on suggestions in the forum we googled local community banks in south florida and both that we spoke to seemed very open to the idea of buying in a personal name and then quit claiming the property into an LLC.  

If so, make a claim against it.

Typically, people will quit claim deed the property over into the LLC's name knowing that they run the VERY small risk that the lender could call the loan due using the due-on-sale clause.

Tom,From an insurance perspective, ask them about claims and see if they can get "Loss Runs" (reports of losses on policies) for the past 5 years.
