Although I attend significantly less frequently than I used to, the RICH Club offers educational workshops every Monday night and their general meeting is the first Saturday of each month.

I could spend every weekend from now until the end of year paying for those "weekend workshops" and after I've spent more than $3000 on those "books and tapes" what would I have, nothing but books and tapes.

Should I invest in this workshop which will give me access to lenders, or build a list and go for it on my own?

I paid 125k for the land and have since put about 100k of improvements into it, including a well, electric service, fencing, and a 2200sf barn/workshop with living quarters.

They provide workshops and free local education as well.

I would like to start charging memberships for more value such as national speakers, workshops, round table groups, and a lot more that I don't want to go into on here. 

The funny thing is, I actually DID get a lot out of their original $2,000 3 day workshop.

Go and find a wholesaler there and see what wholesaling workshops or any one really who can partner with you to help you get started wholesaling. 

Learn as much as you can by reading asking questions, and take action that will get you going.I recommend the Ultimate Beginner's Guide that is free on BP It's fun, interesting, and gives you food for thought.Other actions you can take are attending REIA meetings in your area; taking a real estate class at your local community college; going to a workshop on how to build your credit score; and sitting in on a first time home buyer's workshop.The salary of an engineer along with your critical thinking and math background is going to contribute to your success in real estate.
