That being said, I was recently analyzing properties in Texas when I stumbled upon several homes that had around 6-7 rooms with a full or half bath in each room.

For anyone that is stumbling upon this thread:   After speaking to one of my very knowledgeable lenders he mentioned that appraisers typically don't look for permits or look at the public record. 

Then one day, I stumbled upon BiggerPockets, read some articles and listened to some podcasts... and Boom!   

So in the future if a newer investor is searching specific key words they may stumbled onto this thread and get inspired by some out-of-the-box thinking.

I ask this, because I stumbled into real estate through property management.

They are either straight forward with you on what you will see, or you will see them hesitate, pause, look for excuses and otherwise stumble on their story of what is on their credit report and why their score is so low.
