I’m taking my real estate exam in the upcoming week and I’m looking for some advice in how to to start my career off.

I'm looking for resources to find macro data on the US real estate market, to examine metrics often discussed on the BP podcast such as new construction delivered, foreclosures BTA, properties on sale/sold etc.

Examine the comps and that will tell you what improvements to make and what value you should expect.  

To determine the appropriate steps to take today while working on a financial plan, you must examine the long-term viewpoint – the far-off personal and financial goals you wish to reach.You have power over your financial life, even if it doesn't always feel like it.

Also, tier 1 companies will examine the roof of the building.

Have a good lawyer examine the leases and guarantees.
