I see that the highest rates are spacious/unique in places. 

The main level featuring tall ceilings, living room plus powder room, spacious custom kitchen with new cabinets, counter and stainless appliances, formal dining, family room with built-in fireplace and access to deck.

Downtown Bend has many good places, I would suggest Greg's Grill in the Old Mill Shopping Center, it is spacious and people can actually carry on a conversation.ThanksChristy Osterkamp

The more things blend together, the more spacious they seem, whereas contrast that makes things stand out will make the kitchen appear smaller.  

The unit is an end unit, it has a huge lot of land and fairly spacious units. 4 unites, each have 2br/1ba. 2 floors, 2 units on each floor.

I think there is a difference between a spacious kitchen and an open concept one.
