You also have to steal your mind during this time as "doom, gloom and sex" sell... that applies to journalism too. 

The Cook County Human Rights Ordinance: This ordinance prohibits people in Cook County (including employers, landlords, property managers, real estate agents, store and restaurant owners, bankers, lenders and Cook County government officials and employees) from unlawfully discriminating against or harassing other people on the basis of that person's race, color, sex, age, religion, disability, national origin, ancestry, sexual orientation, marital status, parental status, military discharge status, source of income (including use of a housing choice voucher), housing status, or gender identity.

And 2 per bedroom is their max (and it can be less, depending on age and sex).

Im not proud of it but unfortunately i have a criminal history from my past.Drug charges only,no sex offenses,no theft,no violent crimes.I reside in newjersey and my question is will my criminal history affect me from trying to get my real estate liscence?

There is plenty of material published regarding background searches on SS#s, criminal and sex offender history, judgments and liens, prior evictions, etc ...But ... what if there were an additional tool?!

For example, one company had 3 houses and they would only allow Male - Sex Offenders.

STR aka AirBNB Co-cross sex renting is normal and normally no issues... ( all doors have Digital Locks)Recovery homes or Safe houses... etc need to be single sex: dont want sex abused people, or drug recovery, or alcohol recovering mix of sexes in one house...  

It has nothing to do with their race/religion/sex/whatever.

I am a new investor, and am wondering if a home situated next to someone on the local sex-offender registry is enough of a red-flag to warrant letting this home pass, or is this something that can be accounted for when setting a target selling price?
