Consider all the things that could go wrong and see if the lease addresses them: unauthorized pets or tenants, early termination, security deposit, lease violations, late rent, eviction, lawn maintenance, parking, etc.5.

Tell the parrents, that the child needs to be added to the lease, and have that child sign all the same documents, and pay for a deposit and pet fee for the cat.
