I want a CPA who is also an investor!

They paid their portion of the rent.I have found a lot of investors bring their personal or political feelings into the investing conversation. 

I personally would stay away from condo-tels as they will be even worse and you'll have less opportunity to cash flow. 

I’m a realtor here in Indianapolis and work with a lot of investors in the area.

Some investors look for cash flow and some look for appreciation and there are investors who need to merge the two in order for the deal to be considered good.I think identifying what sort of investor you are looking to become should be answered first. 

I know an investor that might partner with you on the lot next door and/or may buy your lot without the title policy.

I have personally been the guy who hasn't pulled permits and got caught...by far one of the worst experiences of my investing career.

Would a HELOC or home equity loan on my personal home be a good idea to fund this?  

I don't personally care about checks anymore so that wasn't an important feature for me.
