I am a complete novice at the entire Real Estate game. 

I currently lead a family group of real estate entrepreneurs/novice investors who are looking to supplement our current incomes, build wealth and create financial independence for ourselves and future generations. 

I am a total novice here. 

What is a novice to do in the current market? 

I'm very much a novice when it comes to commercial real estate mainly everything about commercial real estate in my area in Broward County, Florida there's been a lot of building of high rises and luxury apartments but not enough affordable housing multifamily apartments in my area.

Corporate guarantees are a bit overrated and overpriced, but makes the novice investor feel like nothing bad will ever happen but it can and does.   

I recommend starting with a turkey or light-value add deal first for any novice or intermediate investor investing out of state.

At a novice level many eggs in one basket is not a bad thing.

Hey y'all! I've built a lot of homes over the years, but am now serious about acquiring as much as possible (buy and hold) and learning from all you trailblazers in front of me.

@Bob Stevens it's no different than all the novice investors coming here and asking for rental applications, basics of how to screen an applicant, leases, etc.Pretty high percentage of posts are from newbies too lazy to do any work, but they expect experienced investors to spoonfeed them for FREE and high ROI.
