I vote for the people I think will best represent us, I notify my representatives when I'm unhappy, and I sign any petitions that I feel are aligned with my ideologies.

Vikram,That would be great in a theoretical world where people are honest about their ideologies but in reality, you cannot separate the message from the speaker and the speaker's history and past associations.

For this and more, I can't see living anywhere for extended periods of time, would not spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on the 'ultimate dream home' of which you would most likely not be able to recoup your loses, all for the sake of some ideological neverland.

The main difference is a mostly non corrupt pragmatic government that governs on data and facts rather than ideology.

Cultural, political or personal ideology has no place in business for the most part and there is absolutely zero reason to potentially generate complaints off of basic inexpensive stuff.
