If not the pool may not even work, and over time pools can raise if they're left empty as groundwater runs under them and the fluid tension pushes them up.

I do think about that when looking at areas to invest in as we've seen some areas around us have wells go dry and this continues at an increasingly alarming rate as we draw down our aquifers and ground water through agriculture, industrial use and population growth in areas that have no natural sources of water.

Otherwise, I would make it a camp, and propably build an above ground water tank and have it trucked in (look at what that would cost, your average usage, and then use that to calculate your cost basis per month).

They can be foundational, ground water, etc... and they can lead to bigger issues like mold, tenant complaints and more.

Any exterior drain tiles that may have been buried around the foundation are likly clogged, and if you add in the factor of poor drainage due to settling of the original grade and/or man-made causes, you probably get more groundwater directed to the foundation as well.

is it in the groundwater or notMost people think leaky storage tanks from gas stations and such are really expensive to clean up, but in reality this type of substance can be relatively cheap (none of its cheap).
