I'd like to frame and screen in the porch, while not obscuring the columns or masonry and include a double screen door for access, similar to this: https://www.homedepot.com/p/36-in-x-80-in-Wood-Cla...Fence - I'm considering a low picket fence immediately in front of the structure to the sidewalk for security and to allow for landscaping.

I also planted various flowering trees and bushes, built a retaining wall, enclosed the entire 2.4 acres in fencing (part white picket, part deer fence), etc.

The pickets I buy to replace worn ones have nearly TRIPLED in price here. 

Hi @Dylan Huynh,KW is well known for their training program, but it's focused on selling real estate to vanilla white picket fence husband/wife owner occupants, not on REI.Extra "out of school" stuff will be where you learn those skills, and how REI think.

I think I'll take advantage of this, installing locked gates for easy access, and reasonably spaced pickets for circulation.

Well they then did the Joe Picket routine and sold on contract with low down to folks..

Tenants and even property managers do not look at your investment with the same eye that you would, so when you are there for any repair, look around, walk the perimeter, see if outdoor heat pumps are clear or covered in weeds, peak under sink cabinets to check for water leaks, look around tubs for caulk issues, check for beginning signs of rot around exterior doors, porch posts, loose fence pickets, check dryer vents, any trees leaning on your roof or fences. 

My dog broke 2 pickets on 4/12/17.  

Everyone has a typical cookie-cutter house with a small yard/garage/white picket fence.
