I was going to add, as posted above, it's a great rate and stick with that local credit union for the future business. 

Unfortunately, I canceled about a month in when I realized the scam.I signed the contract in good faith and tried to dispute it with my credit card company, but they lied to the credit card company, showing them only the first contract I signed.

You typically will see small banks/credit unions probably wouldn't be able to out-of-state, but otherwise any mid-size company or larger should be able to.

It may be worth letting them know about the prequalification requirements (credit score over xxx, salary above xx,ooo/year, etc.) in advance to weed people out.

A couple issues with Credit/income on paper.

You can go up to 6.75% and get 1 point credit towards the broker fee.

I haven't spoken to the county yet, but will make that phone call today.As far as financing -- I was leaning more towards getting a business line of credit or using a business credit card and rolling it over to interest free cards.

Set aside a big pile of cash or rely on a line of credit you won't be using.The oversimplified insurance concept is to pay a small premium to cover a large loss.
