An aspiring investor here, moving to Cleveland Ohio within the next year or so to househack my first property and begin my real estate journey by age 25/26.

Here's the best lesson I can give to those trying to figure out the paralysis issue:  the true entrepreneur (who gets things done) does not care if they lose money.

So not quite the same as South Florida, but I do have aspirations to move my investments south, where the commute is a little less! 

I was just there for a business trip and found SLC to be booming in terms of economic development, entrepreneurs and more but haven't done any real RE diligence

In those towns is where the STRs entrepreneurs usually invest, they are mostly digital nomads as well and they come for the summer go when it rains, and when it rains locals fill the spot with some tourist to boot.
