You could block those, however, in your first photo of the kitchen you are trying to replicate with the oven on the left, where the taller window is with the grass cloth covering, you can keep your door (though you may need to move it over) and then move the sink to the right under the window.

That building will have all cloth wire, case-iron pipes, and other fun things like the condition of the roof you will discover plus if you were trying to get a forced air solution. 3) You wouldn't get any more units on net with your idea and would than starting with a huge cost to reconfigure.

No way around those that I'm aware of....They do make some new units that don't need a duct to dry clothes , called ventless dryers, check those out....

I would never make a claim under $10k anyway there’s too big a discount for no claims.In 25 years I’ve made two claims (both over $30k for toilet supply lines that burst in two different houses) and I ate a $3k clothes washer flood.
