Some lenders are individual investors; some lenders are syndicates or have joined individual investors together to form a lending institution.

So I pay it, and every few weeks when the stars align and I have no work meetings at the time, I join, listen to other people's questions and Peter's answers and that's it.At least after reading your post I feel better knowing that some clever tactics were practiced to get me into this and not that I was easily fooled.I would be happy to share info if yiu think it will help others make decisions and avoid shortcomings, and I would appreciate it if you have some advice that might help me get out of this situation.Thank you! 

Definitely join your local chapter of REIA (real estate investors association) or join one of the ones that are fully online (Columbus and Cincinnati).

I lived in Gelnhausen for almost seven years, but it was a lifetime ago.We’re thrilled you've joined us.

There is an Upstate New York AirBNB Investor group that you can join and likely find some MTR investors in the Syracuse area.

I personally concur .. they charge 6k to join the club they bring in folks who have no experience and set them lose.. with so called training..

Has anyone had experience using this financing, or can recommend a similar financing alternative without the overhead of joining an inner circle?

Then I p;an to move out and find another project.I am excited to join the forums and learn from the vast wealth of knowledge on here, as well as (hopefully) benefit the community with some of my own learnings.Look forward to the journey.Franklin
