Hello BP Community! My name is Aja Sellers and I am new to the REI world! I attended a REI conference back in October 2024 prior to knowing anything about Bigger Pockets or investing in general, and it gave me the motivation to seek out information and shoot for my first couple of deals in 2025. I am an American living and working abroad; I have been in Europe for six years now! So the idea of doing this all from afar is a bit daunting, however, I know the most important thing here will be to create a great team and outsource as much as possible.

I have set my sights on a couple of different markets being in the Southeast and the Midwest; these markets seem to provide the cash flow I am initially interested in generating to value add to the properties I purchase. Definitely glad to be a part of this community and learn from some great folks!

Welcome to BP! I own 4 doors here in the Midwest and am excited to add more doors as I continue this investing journey. Each duplex was bought with an average purchase price of around $270K and is getting an average of $1350 a month in rent
