Even within "Tokyo" there is a difference between Tokyo "proper" and the expanded definition of Tokyo. 

Foreign investors choose properties in Japan, outside of Tokyo, for cash flow and affordability particularly during uncertain times in other markets.

The way I see it, there are at least 4 of us here in Japan and perhaps we could benefit from forming a mutually supportive group since to my knowledge there is no REIA around for us to join.I don't know if the messages disappeared before you could see I will be in Tokyo in a couple of weeks for a conference and perhaps we can meet then.Thanks again for the lead,Pyrrha

An American originally from Boston but currently living in Tokyo, I have since purchased 2 other fully leveraged buildings in the greater Tokyo area (a couple of 8 unit) and most recently a 6 unit in Bakersfield California.Before my first purchase I had absolutely no experience in or knowledge of real estate, and each deal I do I feel like there's more I don't know than I do, however the amount I've learned just by the experiences I've had since I began has been incredible.
