Is this a good route for kick starting my real-estate investment portfolio?  

I just wanted to network because I just recently got super interested in all of this talk about house hacking and brrrr like two weeks ago and have been lookin for the best method to kick start my drive on this road to financial freedom. 

As I was reading some articles, a news service I subscribe to dinged an incoming message about some start up entrepreneur who had successfully launched a video game with money he obtained from kickstarter-one of the top crowdfunding websites.

So hopefully, I can unload this one in the next month or so and make some good money and then really kickstart things in 2014.

I plan on going far in life and I hope this place will help kick start me there!

I've been monitoring this space for a while and I see new real-estate portals pop up every day-- most unaware of the big, BIG registration fees.Regardless, I think there will certainly be a Kickstarter of Real Estate where group funded (crowdbuilding some call it) real estate projects should find easy, or at least, relative funding to its location.

This is truly the kick-start I needed to fulfill my dream of becoming a real estate investor and (hopefully) one day leave the corporate grind behind.

Now the real kickstarter would be to rent a place even cheaper for yourself and rent all the units in your property to others.

I have never invested in a crowd fund real estate deal (although I have done Kickstarter deals where you actually get a sample prototype for your investment) and have nothing against Scott.
