South Florida....my opinion, there's some older folks that need to move to a gated resort community! 

Things may look great right out the gate, then two years later you have an expensive repair on the foundation.

It is gated, secure, a larger resort, with hotels, restaurants, shops, scuba, snorkeling, a dolphin encounter, etc.It has a marina and golf course.

Also I don't want to invite possible theft because it isn't a gated apartment complex. 

And quick too.Fast money & freedom only comes in a very few fashions:1) Windfalls2) Lottery3) Incredible success out the gates with your own small business.Lots of #3 happened in 2020-2021.

@Heather Gates - STRs near Tenkiller are quite popular due to the area's appeal for outdoor activities.

Then, I paid $172,000 Cash for a 3/3 like new Townhome in a small, gated Community, with garage and pool in Valrico.

Save some money on the down payment so you can put more down on other investment properties.I will tell you the same thing I tell all of my customers, If you cannot find a 2-4 unit or investment properties that will cash flow out of the gate - Look at other states.

No need to chase future yields when you get 12% out of the gate!

I am struggling to decide whether to get into this home or narrow down to a property that is $310k and can pay for the mortgage right out of the gate?
