I got a private banker assigned to me, and once when I saw his name and number on my caller ID, called back and he said he just wanted to wish me a happy birthday, and it was my birthday.

i pulled the trigger and closed on the 23rd on a 4 unit.. it was my birthday present to my self. the way i look at it is if you have reserves set up and you find a good deal go for it. best time to buy is always now. markets go up and down for all we know this will pass in 2 weeks or last for ever. it helps that when you close you normally have a month or 2 before your first payment is due.

I've got a couple negative ones myself, one I'm not going to comment on (my only closed past client that does NOT get happy birthday cards from me :P ), the other from someone I'd never worked with before.

My dad setup a mutual fund account for me when I was 16 with money that I had saved from birthdays and working; I’ve added to it ever since.
