In the past 2 weeks alone my good neighbors and I have witnessed hand-to-hand drug transactions right on the curb while looking out the window in the middle of the day, prowling creepy trespassers hiding out underneath our decks and on our porches in the middle of the night, a huge amount of vehicle traffic visiting the property all night and even a parked car on the street with two adults in it coming down from very hard drugs (authorities were called promptly). 

Unless some action is taken we may be witnessing the east coast version of skid row in neighborhoods that previously were known as some of the most affordable housing in the nation. 

He was found to be a "liar" (they call him a "non-credible witness") at trial but nothing became of his libel and perjury.

There are a multitude of other reasons that K&T is no longer acceptable.All that being said, I've witnessed loss of life and property due to the unskilled management and implementation of residential electrical systems and that has definitely affected my decisions.

I'm being pessimistic and I know you have to work at it to find a great deal, but I'm also witnessing small multi fams being sold at prices which hardly give any return, which confuses me a lot.

Yet, I'm not sure that buying real estate in a foreign country is the right thing to do as an adventure so your decision to hold off on that makes sense, given your specific circumstances.Most people who are looking to buy properties in Mexico and reach out to me for help do so after they've come back from a trip/stay in Mexico because they can see for their own eyes what's going on and can figure out what's going to happen there and they want a piece of the action.Once you get to Puerto Vallarta and the Riviera Nayarit, you'll witness with your own eyes the ever growing hordes of tourists and remote workers.
