Account Closed Starting off in an expensive market

We bought our first home (already at a good price - owners were very motivated to sell quick) in Kailua in late 2016 with a loan from my parents for the down payment and have done a lot of improvements already which has upped our equity quite a bit, so at this point, we are waiting for at the very least the 2-year mark as well as a few other improvements before we sell again, and we are hoping we will make a pretty good profit, pay my parents off, and have leftover to move on to the next property.

But in that case I'm not quite sure what I can bring to the table that my hypothetical partner can do on his own from there.Another alternative is working with brokers, but as I am new to this, again I'm not quite sure how to go about it, who I need to help me, and what their motivation to help me would be, as it would be simpler for them to do the same thing without an additional person.I'd be happy to hear from as many people as possible.

I will admit now that my profession combined with my expensive market can force me out of buying properties anytime soon, but my motivation and interest in this field has overcome that fear.
