Don't just go for the obvious, but maybe something less obscure for the area (local sports teams, state flag colors, historic sites nearby, etc.).

If you're looking at an STR strategy, consider areas in beach towns, near large universities, near several corporate headquarters, or in an area with multiple professional sports teams.

Here in AZ we have a LOT of charter schools, some are good, some are great, some not so much but as a parent you have a choice where your kids go and if you don't like the curriculum are are not locked in.What sports and recreation do you and your family enjoy?

We were interested in this property because of its proximity to a huge sports complex in Westfield, IN called Grand Park.

People had all this extra cash, but local things like concerts, movies and sporting events were all cancelled.

Some people say ABC Always Be Closing....and while that is important...also ABL ...always be learning.Main problem for most people is that they don't understand it is a contact sport.... you have to be talking to people....all the time....on the phone, in person, friends, family, investors...and more.

But I usually have a good sports game on in the background so at least I can keep an eye on that while transferring money around.

They tend to be booked out for most of the winter (for skiing/winter sports), empty through the spring/early summer, pick up before the end of summer/fall when the leaves are changing, and dead during the mud season before winter.

That's like asking, "What can you tell me about sports?"
