Section 8. 

I’m looking to do section 8 rentals in the rust belt, states like West Virginia and Ohio, Although I live in Florida.

I saw you previously mentioned about managing section 8 properties in Detroit.

Now the building is over 85% occupied and a flourishing corner at a busy intersection in uptown Shelby.

Currently the tenant is section 8.

This was after a long delay in even getting someone from HUD out to inspect it. ** this is my first section 8 experience.

If you are in a condo building look at Section 718.110(13), Florida Statutes, provides as follows: “An amendment prohibiting unit owners from renting their units or altering the duration of the rental term or specifying or limiting the number of times unit owners are entitled to rent their units during a specified period applies only to unit owners who consent to the amendment and unit owners who acquire title to their units after the effective date of that amendment.”

Things happen but often cash strapped flippers cut corners and :"put lipstick on a pig" to get out from under a mistake. 

Looking for someone who's done a lot of section 8 BRRRR deals to share some insight. 

CR had put significant $$ into renovations so these row houses were really like all new - roof, appliances, gutted throughout etc. it was understood that many of the rentals would be Section 8 which is a good secure investment.
