It seems like now is a time to play defense with real estate rather than offense.

Born in Africa, citizenship in Africa, raised in Africa, schooled in Africa, BUT because our skin is WHITE....So we keep getting told about this "whatever" for being white skinned, but we had to jump hoops for years on immigration, pay thousands upon thousands, and as of yet have have not experienced any 'advantage" of being white of skinned and at same time, have never seen or experienced any kind of racial bias unto a person for being Black (sorry if that's not correct term, in SA it's just Black, White or Mixed, that's the only 3 anyone uses commonly, no offense meant if any was taken by anyone I just use terms as I know them). 

If someone said, "Chicago hasn't changed much from Al Capone, and you took offense to that, would they be right, would you be right, or would both be right?

A scam is not simply defined as legit or not.Again, I can sell you a wall-mart pen, you know these "Parker" pens for $89,094/pen.I assure you the pen is legit, it writes, and I will hand that pen over to you when you pay me that money.BUT no offense.. 

No offense intended, but I strongly believe that no Realtor without experience and training should try to handle PM.

That's terrible.No offense ot anyone but those methods ARE crap. 

If you stay on the offense side of the STR market your profitable is quite a bit more...2-3 times more.

I tend to over analyze things myself which actually got me into a good habit of doing basic research on a property before I contact the owner.If a property is truly "abandoned" ( be careful with that word because some folks who haven't necessarily abandoned a property will take offense to you suggesting that they abandoned their childhood home.
