@Guy KerenMost of the homes in the midwest markets are going to be older usually built in the 1900-1940's or maybe even older depending on the neighborhood.

So right now its over built with way to much inventory and now prices are falling HARD

Many houses in Trinidad were built by inexperienced homeowners where you may find lots of hidden repairs.

There is so much variance of tax rates, insurance rates, should the house have a basement, foundation issues, do I need a 1in copper water line or is pex better for the climate, etc.

I have a four plex with ceiling heat and window units for AC built in 1970.

I've seen new houses built in 7 days from the day the foundation was cured but there was tons of planning which isn't counted.
