@Brooklyn R. looks like there are a lot of available rental listings in that area over the last few months, are you at all concerned about the increasing supply of renovated units depressing rents in the area?

Often you have wage hikes or inflation, or hyper inflation, or booming economies or depressed economies, or higher unemployment rates, and the list goes on.Wall Street and the large banking institutions had a huge impact/role in the 2002-2007 housing boom and in that same time, interest rates went up.

In the down turns of 2009 you could find decent deals in A and B areas with depressed pricing.

We will undoubtedly have another recession or depression in the next 30 years.

Unfortunately rising interest rates is one of the few factors that can depress the economy as a whole, especially when wall street starts speculating on when that rise is going to happen.

I've heard rumblings in Illinois about folks who are depressed, bi-polar, PTSD, etc. being able to have "support animals."

One thing to look for is an area where the market is depressed currently, but historically the area sees appreciation (like california, 2008-2013).Look, there are articles out there with EDUCATED guesses.

Some get depressed and suffer in silence when all they want is people to talk with them.
