My wife comes from money and they never spend anything. they wear old clothes and drive old cars, and my family doesn't come from money and they spend almost everything they earn but they have the latest clothes and cars

All my foster kids are given their clothing budget to manage, etc.  

My handyman and I completed several items on the list:- New Flooring, vinyl throughout- New Paint, lighter colors- New toilets, vannities- New Kitchen countertop -Quartz- New Fixtures- New Dishwasher- New clothes washer & dryer$15,000 in repairs later, I was $210,000 invested.

@Alvin Sylvain it’s all roses and candy canes when the tenant moves in, then a month later you find the property trashed and the tenant has had “family” staying for more than the term specified for guests in the lease and there’s food, clothing and trash everywhere.

I had key metrics to that could not be degraded by the yearly allocation to my policy that are as follows 1)I was going to max out my employer Roth IRA and hit the percentage my employer would match in my other retirement account, 2) I would not touch any of my cashflow from my rentals 3) I would set aside 10% of my biweekly pay check into an emergency funds 4) I could pay all of my bills to include putting clothes on my daughters back/food in her belly/a roof over her head. 

Don't wear loose clothing or carry in bags or purses when visiting the apartment.

Does anyone in Memphis know someone who likes to buy old junk -- clothes, furniture (some junk, some solid wood pieces that need some TLC), old appliances, etc.?
