When someone asked me why I left my previous job, as a contractor working through a temporary help agency, I could say I completed my contract (I never used the "take this job and shove it" approach to moving on).As my wealth grew, I became confident enough to open and contribute regularly to a donor-advised fund and make anonymous donations to various 501(c)(3) charities to satisfy my need to be a Secret Santa.

I know Brad's students who look for other investors but none of them try to do it anonymously.

Don't mean to be harsh, but I would never talk about my wife like that in a public forum... even if it is a relatively anonymous medium. 

Trusts,LLCs, insurance, corps, offshore entities, IRAS, 401ks,  anonymity, etc may all play into your strategy -dependent on your paranoia level.

IMHO, it depends on how rich you are and how much it's worth to you to be anonymous in the world of Internet and frivolous lawsuit. 

However, in most state (except Florida), land trust is not an asset protection tool but only an anonymity tool.

I personally feel like I would just delete most any inquiry I received coming from someone's personal gmail account asking to purchase my ~$[5] MM building...Given the targeted investments would be real estate, is entity ownership anonymity suggested? 

Having a properly structured trust document provides anonymity as well as asset protection.

To Brent Boltz, my strong opinion is that the best way to anonymously hold proeprty (Anonymous to the public or lawyers anyway) is in a land trust.
