Good morning everyone, My name is Denny and I recently bought my first multi family property here in Bridgeport.

Part of this is regulations in my city, but after having done it this way, I wouldn't ever want to do it with a single family home.

Consider looking for a large single-family home with the ability to add more rooms or bathrooms, then rent it out by the room. 

Board games can be worth it, but I'd keep it minimal - maybe 2-3 family-friendly classics.

I have a rule , never do business with family or friends .

I have some family ties to the area.

Many being multi families. 

Maybe they've been burned by landlords in the past and are being very careful.You can legally reject them based on personality, facial tattoos, body odor, or other factors, but you better make sure you can prove that it wasn't based on any protected class like race, religion, familial status, etc.
