I see so many borrowers angry over this issue.If possible borrow funds to make the  house payment during the period the house cant be used or apartments rented to avoid a strain on your budget; up to 6 months of payments are allowed to be  includedI write a Blog on these types of loans , link in my website.

In the winters you can either remove them or insulate them.If you don't want to provide the AC units, I would have clear language in my lease about which windows they can be installed in, that they must be installed safely, can/can't be screwed into window panes, etc. etc.Ceiling fans are unnecessary effort in my opinion.

Needless to say the insurance was not renewed at the end of the year.Insurance companies rarely if ever pay out like you would assume that they should, and often do more harm then good as the very long delays in repairs causes significant stress on your tenants and strains your relationship with them.
