Do you allow tenants to use finished/semi finished attics for storage? Some of my properties have trusses and no floor space, but a few have old style framing, and floored attics, where the HVAC and water heaters are....

They (city council) is always toying with more regulations on vacation rentals like greater restrictions in more residential areas but so far only a few limits have stuck. i.e.
Carolyn Keller Tenants kids ball found in pipe that caused sewage back up, etc.

If you decide to not use an attorney, have all of your paperwork in the number of copies required by the court, don't speak unless spoken to, keep you answers to "yes and no" when possible, use short answers.
