However do reread the lease does it mention anything about "criminal activity" - and if it it more than pot that constitutes eviction If you really want to get picky pot is not legal federally but that could lead to a sticky situation.

This below is just information, not advice.The public records provide a few additional things to think about...1) The DC loan was in fact made as a primary not investment... but I re-read the original post, and it seems there was a 1+ year delay in buying the MA property.

After re-reading my post I should clarify though that the Sponsors are getting 15% of the equity up front for sponsoring the deal .. not 15% of the upside.
