This reminds me of a boat I had, a Sea Ray beauty, I could afford it but that hole in the water thing said my investment and expenses were not worth my owning it, (gotta use a boat like that more than three times a year ya know...) so it was gone!

I'm in the boat with @Chris K. on this one.To hopefully avoid this scenario moving forward, you may be best to take the app, do your full screening and then sign the lease when receiving the full funds.Personally, I don't believe her story about the agreement with the landlord about the last month's rent.
