I may be off on this, but I personally just found that to be bad form as Capt Hook would say for her to drop that hint to you as a new STR owner.  

Install at least one *exterior* camera at the entry way so you know if/when a party is about to happen: hint they say they have 8 ppl but 50 ppl show up.You need a *great cleaner* and two handymen on speed dial along with other skilled ppl (HVAC, plumber, etc.).

I jokingly point out that if that were true then I'd be quite literally unemployed (hint: I'm not unemployed), but now there's data aside from my employment status to show that it isn't hopeless. 

The few keys thing to emphasize here is  (1) The loan is amortized over 20 years at 4.25% (fixed) so the monthly payment is low - hint, cash flow at the gate  (2) The loan balance (or the balloon payment) is due at the end of the 5-year period.  

It is possible, (hint hint) I have enough units to make up for that difference.I do know this with absolute certainty, since you do everything yourself if you get sick, injured or just fed up you still have to do it for it to get done.No, I am not talking about this hands-off autopilot dribble you often hear.
