The mortgage payments are becoming an increasing burden and have strained us financially.

All in all if you can create positive cash flow, buying and holding is something that you want to do, it's not going to create a strain financially as you look to move I'm all for it.

The elctric panel is not safe and needs to be replaced, a basement wall has a crack and needs to be beamed, probably cause by water from the missing  downspout extensions.

It can strain you mentally but in general all of my portfolio has been a success aside from one. 

I replaced the single pane windows the hail broke myself today, I went up and patched any spots that look like they might leak in the next year or two. 

I know everyone you need to know to adopt locally and the financial strain is far less when you adopt through the county.
