Are they executives in town on a term-stay who are looking for a furnished, middle-to-upper-end product or are they working-class families with kids?  

A lot of stuff that resembles MLM according to their refugees, though I'm not in the loop on what you have to do to actually get a cut of the action - I haven't meet anyone that did actually get a cut. 

I do see those ads here, but mostly from apartment buildings property managers, renting furnished, usually above one month up to one year, filling in their gaps of long term tenants (usually one year lease).

Yes, there are more costs such as furnishing, cleaning, management, etc., and I do most of the cleaning myself (but have used crews when I cannot get out of the office), but the profits far outweigh any costs or time I put in.

That said, I do not believe that he is licensed, he will be subcontracting the electrical to a master electrician colleague...I agree that I can do a lot of this stuff myself, the timeline is what makes it tricky, I have people hoping to move in this weekend and I'm working full time and then some while running around trying to get the place furnished/decorated, cleaned, and do the most basic repairs myself.
