I don't know of any personally, but I imagine that a professional sports player would have made more than enough in a few seasons to get a very good start in REI.

We are a year-round city with the beaches and many events, festivals, sports games, colleges, etc. 

The amount of preparation, dedication, talent and just plain obsession that is required to 'make it' in the music business can only be compared to, let's say, the sports business.Your average wholesaler (I would imagine) is only interested in the money.

Aim for a traveling demographic and you are apt to get all kinds of situations: I get traveling school sport teams, folks getting their college freshmen settled in, folks renovating or between properties...I had a set of guests who moved their furniture to my garage so they could stage their house, sold their house, and moved out of mine.
