Short Term Rentals To Help Offset The Lack of Supply?

Hey BP! I was thinking about the housing shortage we are experiencing and thought about providing STR to people who are between selling and buying. Do you think there is a market for homeowners who are afraid to sale because they don't think they will be able to find a place to live? Would offering a furnished house on a month to month (or week to week) lease motivate some to sale?

Looking for some different perspectives!
