Well tying it into a metal box MIGHT work, but if the box is mounted in wood with no metal touching it, I'm not sure you will pull enough of a ground current availability to make it light up as grounded.

I think a person with little equity and high loan payments is under greater pressure to get a property cash flow positive from the get-go, but longterm that same person pays more loan interest so perhaps there is a bit of tradeoff.
