I am sure everyone has a different view on this  topic and of course it's dependent on what your needs are.Some perhaps will want an overseas trip every year, wining and dining every week, some  toys along the way and others will be prepared to live a simple life.What income are you aiming achieve......from property investing?

I don't know about that $40k annual income number...DLwhen your 30 you don't think about those things.. when your aging like a fine wine your exactly right..

Just like eggs, fats, sex and wine...experts have loads of differing advise.

People can discuss the pleasures of their first class flights on their 7-day vacations buying chef-selected cuts of fine meat and vintage wine from a select bodega in Argentina.

TV is a big time waster, lack of exercise kills your machine, reading expands your mind and possibilities, alcohol to excess is fattening and poisonous (I'm a big proponent of the 1-2 glass wine/day, however). 

Hubs and I only drank 1 buck chuck wine for about 5 years.

Many in the medical field though are frustrated with pay systems and healthcare reimbursements.. its not all wine and roses :)  but the folks I know in medicine like you say do quite well and are intelligent enough to invest wisely. 

Now I take naps when I want, have a glass of wine with lunch, and turn my phone of at 7 pm. 

I own a vineyard and need to be close to my wine. 

Then again you get the totally random winners that never bought a lottery ticket before buying a wining ticket but to make this more in line with real estate investing what if there were a way for buy a hold investors to increase their yearly earnings by 60% year in and year out?
