Lee-Von Ward, you need to speak to a local attorney.Your reasons for wanting your spouse off the paperwork are your own and none of mine but,you need to see if you are going to need a legal contract between you and your spouse which specifically says you alone are responsible for the properties and taxes and are entitled to their profits. In California (a community property state),a spouse is entitled to 50% of all assets accumulated during the marriage unless released to the one spouse by contract.Get sound legal advice before taking any actions, good luck to you.
