I have been researching all the newsgroups and asking friends what they do regarding either self directed IRA OR Solo 401K to purchase a property and then host it for rent on VRBO?

Yeah, I was in Orlando last week at a 3-day tax seminar hosted by the IRS. 

The entire process is complex so there's a reason people host seminars, write books and have coaching programs to teach the process.  

First renter booked for July 11th.In addition, to a up a book of properties,  I am starting to solicit for Co-hosting opportunities with other STR owners. 

Again, think McMansion, not sure who would even want to host an event there!

If they host an event, get more people to come and/or get involved and help run it.
