No he just sells his name.. this is marketing one o one sports stars do it all the time its called endorsements.. so these TV dudes are paid for endorsers for the back end offices that do all the work..

Some Homeowners Insurance companies offer an endorsement for Equipment Breakdown.

FYI……..On the front of check I wrote "FULL and FINAL Payment" …and then ….on the back where he endorsed I wrote " Payment in FULL for security deposit return for lease @Address".He cashed the check today….I can sleep better now.

They bought liability insurance for their company but their insurance agent forgot to buy an endorsement in their policy to cover them personally as well, so they were left in a lurch. 

Checks from the insurance will be made out to you and the lender and both will have to endorse. 

Its essentially like a credit card using the equity you have in your home.I will list a few Heloc programs below (I'm not endorsing just giving you some examples).
